JOHOR BAHARU, April 21 (Bernama) -- The Institute of Surveyors Malaysia (ISM) is organising a conference on Iskandar entitled "the Wealth of Iskandar Malaysia" from 24 to 26 May at PERSADA Johor International Convention Centre.
The three-day event comprising two-day conference and a half-day site tour and golf competition is scheduled to be officiated by Deputy Prime Minister Tan Sri Muhyiddin Yassin.
The Iskandar Regional Development Authority (IRDA) said the event would also saw the participation of high profile personalities including ministers, industrialists and corporate heads.
"Being the first time such a conference is organised, it hopes to benefit investors, opportunity seekers, employment prospects, business development potential and much more, targeting both foreigners and Malaysians.
"The conference will emphasise on showcasing the Wealth of Iskandar Malaysia to the world, which can create an opportunity for all to be part of," it said in a statement Thursday.
