KUALA LUMPUR, March 28 (Bernama) -- The 39 recipients of the National Mark of Malaysian Brand, have been given an opportunity to strengthen their partnership with potential buyers, as well as promote products and services.
Thus far, SME Corp Malaysia has initiated wide exposure for the brand recipients in the local media and other promotional activities, hoping they will go beyond Malaysian shores.
In a statement, SME Corp said this is in line with the objective to promote greater market access to small and medium enterprises (SMEs), in particular the National Mark of Malaysian Brand's recipients, who have proven to be capable suppliers of products and services.
The potential buyers include Perusahaan Otomobil Nasional Sdn Bhd (Proton), Khazanah National Bhd, the Ministry of Finance, the Malaysia External Trade Development Corporation (Matrade) and Kontena Nasional Bhd.
The National Mark of Malaysian Brand is a certification initiated by the Ministry of International Trade and Industry (MITI), driven by SME Corp Malaysia and the Standards and Industrial Research Institute of Malaysia (SIRIM).
